On June 3, 2009, a group of friends in the San Francisco Bay Area found out that their favorite Bollywood director, Karan Johar, was in town to begin shooting for his forthcoming movie “My Name Is Khan” the very next day. Starring in the movie and stationed in San Francisco for the next 45 days would be none other than their favorite actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, with choreography by the inimitable Farah Khan, and wardrobe by the classy Manish Malhotra. The screenplay by the savvy Shibani Bathija and dialogues by the poetic Niranjan Iyengar would be sure to complete this dream package!
And so began the surreal quest of the SKJ crew to track down every vital clue that could lead to Karan Johar and all that his name represents…
